UPDATE 10/4/23
The release of my behind the scenes documentary, Howl: Inside the Forest Hills, has been pushed back to 2024. The reason for this is due to Scott Goldberg's decision to completely change the The Forest Hills from its original version that premiered at Smodcastle in March 2023. He has asked me to hold off until after the distribution of the new version of the film as to not give away any spoilers. These changes will be addressed in the documentary.

BMF STUDIOS is currently producing a behind the scenes documentary for the upcoming film, The Forest Hills, featuring Edward Furlong (Terminator 2), Dee Wallace (E.T.) and Shelley Duvall (The Shining) to be released in 2023. Marianne Hagan (Halloween 6) and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) have also joined the cast. I'm also serving as associate producer and still photographer for the film.

The Forest Hills has premiered on March 11th, 2023 with a Q+A by Kevin Smith, but the director, Scott Goldberg has recently added new scenes and is creating a new cut of the film for distribution.

My documentary, Howl: Inside the Forest Hills, will premiere on my youtube channel later this year.
Shelley Duvall is now officially in the documentary. Here is some of my interview footage as it aired on Entertainment Tonight (12/8/22)

We've added 2 special previews to the mix before the full documentary is completed.
Howl: The Furlong Files and Howl: The Shelley Files are both available to watch right now, which include extended interviews with Edward Furlong and Shelley Duvall.

Brian Michael Finn is an award winning producer and video editor with over 20 years of experience in independent films and commercial/industrial videos. In 2001, he joined the team of JHD Productions in Deer Park, NY, where he quickly rose to be a prominent camera operator and lead editor and was eventually named Vice President in 2010. He held this title until the closing of the studio in 2021 due to the passing of President, Hugh C. Daly.

In 2005, he completed a short film called, The Creation of Dr. Grecoz, which has received numerous awards, including best producer and best director. He has since produced, directed and edited various video projects in the areas of sports, medicine, public awareness, branded content, short and feature length films, etc. Also in 2005, weeks before graduating from college, he became employed at NBC News in Rockefeller Center where he worked closely with news producers and on-air talent seeking content for NBC Nightly News, Today Show and various MSNBC programs. As part of the demanding job of live television, he is often responsible for preparing field footage on various news stories and reports just moments before air. During this time, he continued his work at JHD Productions and co-directed a feature length film called Let Me Die Quietly (2009) which also won numerous awards.

In 2017, he officially incorporated his own long running production company, BMF Studios, that he started back in 1998. Up until 2021, BMF Studios mostly handled post production editing and effects work partnered with JHD and has helped him create a long resume of credentials over the years working closely with various personalities such as Huey Lewis, Virginia Madsen, Dee Snider, Luther Vandross, Donald Trump and Marc Anthony (just to name a few). With the closing of JHD Productions, BMF Studios will be shifting focus to create more original works in the form of short and feature length films, getting back to the heart of why he embarked into video production to begin with.

He is currently producing and directing his own feature length film that he wrote called, Trip to the Moon, which is being filmed mostly on green screen with all aspects of post production being done in house, including 2D and 3D animation. Early samples of his work from the film have already been recognized by various film festivals and steampunk conventions around the world who have already shown interest in premiering it. The film stars Robert Broski as Abraham Lincoln, who can also be seen as the Woodsman in the new Twin Peaks series as well as Lincoln in Pee Wee's Big Holiday.
